Cash for Kids is Northsound Radio’s listener charity. Each year it hopes to raise £100,000 to make grants to children’s groups, organisations and projects throughout the Northsound transmission area. All the money is raised locally and spent locally and goes to disabled and disadvantaged children and young people under 18 throughout the Grampian area.

We are doing a 12 hour Military Fitness Challenge on the 18th of July 2009 at Balmedie Beach, Aberdeen.

The event will starting at 1800 hours on the Sat 18th and finishing 0600 hours on the Sun 19th July.

The event will consist of Military Fitness and tasks through the night on Balmedie Beach.

Anyone wanting to take part is welcome at a small cost of £3 per person payment can be made on the day at the event.

Things you will need to TAKE:

• Clothing to ware Trainers, Loose trousers or training bottoms/shorts

• Warm clothing eg: top/jacket

• Bottled Water

• Little Snack

• Small bag for your items to be left in

Things not to TAKE:

• Jewellery

• Valuables

• As little as possible as will not be able to be carried during the event.

ITEMS DURING THE EVENT WILL BE LOCKED UP IN VEHICLES AND IN AREAS PROVIDED, THEY WILL BE ACCESSED DURING THE EVENT WHEN NOTIFIED.
